Tuli Safari Lodge is in the Northern Tuli Game Reserve in the easternmost corner of Botswana where the country meets South Africa and Zimbabwe, very close to Mapungubwe World Heritage Site (see map below). The Limpopo River separates us from South Africa, and the Shashe River from Zimbabwe. The lodge itself is on the banks of the Limpopo just 15 minutes upstream from the border at Pontdrift.
The reserve is also known as the Land of Giants and on some maps is listed as Mashatu Game Reserve. It’s the cornerstone of the proposed Greater Mapungubwe Transfrontier Conservation Area. For more information please see our Getting to Tuli page.
