The Lodge’s Environmental Impact

Tuli Safari Lodge prides itself in its effort to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Guests are each gifted aluminum reusable water bottles; a reverse osmosis system at the bar and coffee station provides clean and filtered water for our guests so they may refill their water bottles as needed. Tuli Safari Lodge recycles tins, plastic, paper and glass thus reducing our carbon footprint.

The Tuli veggie garden has been hugely successful since the first seeds were planted in 2016. Originally started in an effort to provide the lodge with fresh veg, the garden uses no chemical pesticides or insecticides, and now produces enough veg to provide our staff with quality produce too. 13 different types of vegetables are grown in the garden; spinach, beetroot, sweet potato and radish to name a few; all of which are used in the Tuli kitchen to provide guests with fresh, delicious meals.
