Tuli Safari Lodge is great for families ...
Tuli Safari Lodge is one of just a handful of Botswana game lodges which welcomes children of all ages. Many safari lodges in Botswana do not accept kids under 12.
Tuli is fantastic for families, with exceptionally child-friendly staff and a genuinely flexible approach.
Tuli Safari Lodge’s family-friendly facilities include:
- a large swimming pool with shallow kids section
- extensive lodge grounds and a self-guided walking trail to explore
- a babysitting service
- flexible meal times
- a selection of toys and baby equipment
- a Kids@Tuli activity pack
Tuli Safari Lodge offers two family suites with a double bed in one part of the room, and two singles in a separate curtained-off area separated by a step.
Depending on how busy the lodge is we may ask families with young children to book a vehicle and guide for their exclusive use. Guided game viewing activities can then be shorter than usual with plenty of little ‘intervals’ for a stroll (although children must be aged 12 or over to participate in a full bush walk), a quick lesson in tracking or a search for the ‘little five’.
Please note that whilst the lodge grounds are idyllic, Tuli is in a wildlife area and children must be supervised by an adult at all times. There is a very steep bank down to the Limpopo River at the end of the lawned area, and sheer drops from the star deck and kopje at the back of the lodge. Parents are also kindly requested to respect the tranquillity of the location and the privacy of other guests.
Tuli Safari Lodge is great for families and one of very few lodges in Botswana that welcomes kids of all ages.
