Molema
Molema is a joint venture project with the local community, located on 6000ha of private land immediately to the west of the Northern Tuli Game Reserve. The campsite and chalets occupy a beautiful riverine setting, shaded by huge Leadwood and Nyala Berry trees.
Molema offers two options for accommodation:
- 3 wooden chalets (two twin and one family) each with en-suite bathroom, veranda & braai stand. Bedding, towels & bathroom amenities provided. Chalet no. 4 is very privately located in a lovely site overlooking the Limpopo River, but please note that it is approx. 300m from the kitchen and boma area. A fully equipped kitchen and boma area is avaialble for chalet guests. P280 per person per night sharing. Children aged 2-12 sharing with adults pay 60% of the adult sharing rate, children under 2 FOC. 50% supplement for singles.
- 4 camping sites each with private ablutions and braai area. P80 per person per night. Children under 2 FOC, children aged 4-12 sharing with adult pay 60% of the adult sharing rate. 50% supplement for singles. Maximum 2 vehicles/4 people per site.
A self-drive trail is available, with two picnic spots and a hide overlooking a large dam where elephants often congregate in large numbers. There is a fee of P200 per vehicle per day to use the trail, and the camp manager will supply the rules & regulations for using the trail. Guests must be back in camp by 16h00.
Guided game drives at Tuli Safari Lodge can be arranged on request @ P150pp (minimum 4 guests) subject to availability. However please note that they are separate operations and our Molema guests are not able to use the facilities offered at the lodge itself nor may they self-drive within the Northern Tuli Game Reserve.
An additional P15pp community fee (for all guests including children regardless of their age) is payable on entry.
