Welcome to Tuli
*** TULI SAFARI LODGE UPDATE ***
We are delighted to announce that, following the
damage sustained in the January floods, Tuli Safari Lodge will now be
extensively refurbished and reopen mid-2014 in what will be the lodge's 50th
anniversary year.
The lodge will therefore remain closed, although our community joint venture project at
Molema Bush Camp remains fully operational.
Molema is in a beautiful, shaded location on the banks of the Limpopo River, offering camping and self-catering
chalets. Enjoy self-drive trails at Molema, or guided game
drives/bush walks in the renowned Northern Tuli Game Reserve. Molema Bush Camp
is a great stop-off, near SA/Bots borders, and makes for a perfect weekend
getaway to Botswana - it was voted one of the 'Top 14 Bush Campsites' by SA 4x4 magazine.
Even better news: check out the specials running at Molema Bush Camp and our Wildside packages which include a selection of guided activities.

There is a real magic to Tuli …. a timeless Botswana safari in a majestic wilderness setting, easily accessible from South Africa
The
Northern Tuli Game Reserve is located in the easternmost corner of
Botswana, close to the Mapungubwe World Heritage Site in South Africa.
Here is a unique, timeless corner of Africa where nature and culture combine in
spectacular wildlife
, breathtaking landscapes and fascinating history - known as
the Land of Giants (on some maps it is called the Mashatu Game Reserve or just the Tuli Block).
Set in spacious gardens along the
banks of the Limpopo River against a backdrop of stunning sandstone outcrops,
Tuli Safari Lodge is also unique. Here the welcome is genuinely warm and the ambience is charmingly ageless.
Each day brings a new adventure as Tuli offers a truly authentic wildlife experience.
Game drives and bush walks with exceptional guides, hides tucked away in the bush (where you can also stay overnight for the ultimate back-to-nature experience!) and horse rides in the wild.
Tuli makes a great getaway destination, combines well with a trip to Mapungubwe or the Kruger National Park and is also a
natural staging post for guests travelling between South Africa, Botswana and
beyond.
Tuli Safari Lodge also offers a community joint venture camping and self-catering option on the banks of the Limpopo River close to Platjan border crossing at Molema Bush Camp.
